Blacksky Legion Records

Romulus was the first attempt at Legion structure within Blacksky. It was not successful. This archive exists to preserve that truth without distortion, glorification, or erasure.

Romulus predates Valhalla and the modern Legion system. It was formed during an earlier era of Blacksky’s history, when the idea of Legions had not yet been fully understood, disciplined, or enforced. Its creation was necessary for growth—but its failure was necessary for survival.

Romulus does not exist as an operational Legion. It will never return. It will never be reactivated, renamed, or reformed. What remains is its record.

PURPOSE OF THIS ARCHIVE
This archive serves three functions:

1. Historical Transparency
   To record the full rise, structure, and collapse of Romulus exactly as it occurred.
2. Structural Precedent
   To preserve the lessons learned from Romulus that directly shaped Valhalla — Legio I.
3. Condemnation & Consequence
   To formally document Traitor Chapters that emerged during the Romulus era, ensuring betrayal is remembered, not repeated.

Blacksky does not hide its failures. It studies them.

RELATIONSHIP TO VALHALLA
Romulus is not Valhalla’s predecessor. It is Valhalla’s warning. Valhalla is Legio I not because it was first — but because it endured. The collapse of Romulus directly informed the doctrines, command structures, and disciplinary frameworks that allowed Valhalla to survive where Romulus could not.

This archive exists beside Valhalla’s record — not above it, and not within it.

FINAL STATEMENT
Romulus is not legacy. It is precedent. Its rise showed what Blacksky could become. Its fall showed what Blacksky must never allow again. Nothing here is hidden. Nothing here is softened. Nothing here will be rewritten. This archive exists so Blacksky endures.
