Rank Overview:
Custodians stand amongst the highest authorities within Blacksky and serve as the senior leadership responsible for guiding the Imperium as a whole. Their responsibility extends across all major areas of Blacksky, including Imperium Command, Operations Command, structural development, long-term expansion, and the preservation of Blacksky’s direction and identity.

Unlike lower command ranks, Custodians are not responsible for isolated Chapters or individual Legions alone. They oversee the health, stability, and future of the Imperium itself. Their decisions shape policy, leadership standards, organizational direction, and the long-term evolution of Blacksky across all levels of command.

Custodians work directly alongside the Founders to maintain continuity between Blacksky’s original vision and its future growth. They are expected to lead through judgment, experience, discipline, and proven service to the Imperium over time.

The rank of Custodian is not awarded through popularity or status. It is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment, organizational mastery, and the ability to carry responsibility at the highest level of command.

✦ Advancement into this position is rare and reserved for those who have demonstrated sustained excellence across multiple levels of command

FOUNDER | Final Imperium Authority

Rank Overview:
The Founders are the creators and ultimate authority of Blacksky. They established the vision, structure, culture, and doctrine upon which the Imperium was built. Every Legion, Chapter, rank, system, and leadership path exists because of their design and direction.

Unlike traditional leadership positions, the Founders do not operate as routine administrators of day-to-day affairs. Their role is to preserve the long-term integrity of Blacksky, safeguard its identity, and ensure that the Imperium never loses the principles upon which it was founded.

The authority of the Founders exists above all command structures. They intervene only when necessary to guide the future of Blacksky, resolve matters of major significance, preserve organizational continuity, or protect the Imperium from internal decline.

The Founders represent the origin of Blacksky itself. Their authority is singular, permanent, and inseparable from the Imperium they created.

The designation of Founder exists outside the traditional chain of promotion and cannot be attained through conventional advancement. New Founders may only be appointed through direct origin-level authority by BSK EXiLE, whose authority to create or recognize a Founder is absolute and non-transferable.
